Revised Local Development Plan Timetable
Planning (Local Development Plan) Regulations
(Northern Ireland) 2015 (Regulation 8)
In accordance with Regulation 8 of the Planning (Local
Development Plan) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015, Newry,
Mourne and Down District Council wish to announce publication
of a revised Timetable (May 2026) for the preparation of the
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Local Development
Plan (LDP). The Timetable was agreed by the Department for
Infrastructure on 12 June 2026.
The revised Timetable can be viewed online at the Council’s
website
local-development-plan. It can also be inspected between the
hours of 9am – 5pm (Monday to Friday) at the Council’s Offices at
Warrenpoint Town Hall, Church Street, Warrenpoint BT34 3HN or
Downshire Civic Centre, Downshire Estate, Ardglass Road,
Downpatrick BT30 6GQ.
