(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the
RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th July 2026 to 18th July
2026.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600,
weekends included.
Roads affected - Hospital Road, Bridge Street, The Leat, Howells Road and A3072 Between Howells Road And Red Post for their entire lengths, Stratton, Bude.
An alternative route will be signed on site.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the
RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for fibre overhead cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th July 2026, for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and
1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Tala Hill, Boyton, Launceston for its entire length. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 18th May 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Badgall Road, Bagdall, Launceston between grid reference
SX 23275 86477 and property known as Willow Cottage.
The Order which commenced on the 1st June 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 26th June 2026.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because capital drainage
works are being executed on or near the road.
Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle
being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the
discretion of a police officer.
Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
