THE A202 GLA ROAD (VAUXHALL BRIDGE AND VAUXHALL BRIDGEFOOT,
LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH AND CITY OF WESTMINSTER) WEIGHT RESTRICTION TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 24th June 2026 it made the above named Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into force on 1st July 2026.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to:
(1) to prohibit any vehicle, except electric buses and any Fire Service Vehicles, exceeding a maximum gross weight of 18 tonnes from entering, exiting or proceeding on either carriageway of the A202 Vauxhall Bridge and Vauxhall Bridgefoot between its junctions with Wandsworth Road/Albert Embankment and Millbank/Grosvenor Road.
3. The roads which will be affected by the Order are the A202 Vauxhall Bridge and Vauxhall Bridgefoot in the London Borough of Lambeth and City of Westminster.
4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected by visiting our website at https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/tro and

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been
complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
