(DERWENT ROAD, LINSLADE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Derwent Road, Linslade between Lochy Drive and Greenleas School.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 20 to 24 July 2026. Between the hours of 0800 and 1800hrs. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Soulbury Rd, Southcourt Rd, Himley Green and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Blackhill, Tilsworth at the junction with Bury Rise.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 21 to 23 July between the hours of 0800 and 1800hrs. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Grange Lane, Hockliffe outside Rectory.

This temporary closure is required to enable pole replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 22 July 2026 between the hours of 0800-1800. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Gig Lane, Heath & Reach from Leighton Road to outside number 9 Gig Lane,

This temporary closure is required to enable gas mains replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 20 July to 5 August 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Eastern way, Leighton Rd, Gig Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 20 July 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Leighton Road, Stanbridge and Stanbridge Road, Leighton Buzzard between From just past Adastral Avenue to Frazerfields Way.

This temporary closure is required for footway construction works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 6 July to 7 September 2026 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Leighton Road, Billington Road, A505, A4146, A4012, Stanbridge Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 6 July 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CEDARS WAY, FINCH CRESCENT AND WING ROAD, LINSLADE

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

On 16th June 2026 Central Bedfordshire Council made the below named Traffic Regulation Order which has the effect as follows:-

To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road in Linslade:-

1. Cedars Way, north-east side, from a point in line with the north-western property boundary of No.7 Cedars Way, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 43 metres, to a point in line with the south-eastern flank wall of No.4 Ledburn Grove.

2. Cedars Way, south-west side, from the junction with Finch Crescent, extending in a north-westerly direction for approximately 15 metres, to a point in line with the northwestern property boundary of No.7 Cedars Way.

3. Finch Crescent, both sides, from the junction with Cedars Way, extending in a south-westerly direction for approximately 10 metres.

4. Cedars Way, south-west side, from the junction with Finch Crescent, extending in a

south-easterly direction for approximately 12 metres.

5. Cedars Way, south-west side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a north-westerly direction, following the curvature of the kerb into Wing Road for approximately 20 metres.

6. Cedars Way, north-east side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a north-easterly direction, following the curvature of the kerb into Wing Road for approximately 19 metres (up to the existing No Waiting at any time restrictions).

To introduce No Waiting from Monday to Friday between 8am and 4:30pm on the following length of road in Linslade: -

1. Cedars Way, north-east side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 19 metres.

2. Cedars Way, south-west side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 16 metres (up to the existing No Waiting at any time restrictions).

Order Title:- Central Bedfordshire Council (Bedfordshire County Council (District of South Bedfordshire) (Civil Enforcement Area and Special Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2008) (Variation No.19) Order 2026.

Date of Operation:- The Order will come into operation on the 30th June 2026.

MILL ROAD, LEIGHTON BUZZARD – DISABLED PARKING BAY

On 16th June 2026 Central Bedfordshire Council made the below named Traffic Regulation Order which has the effect as follows:-

To introduce Parking for Disabled badge holders only on the following lengths of road in Leighton Buzzard:-

1.  Mill Road, north side, from a point in line with the shared property boundary between No. 60 and No. 58 and extending in a north-westerly direction, covering an area approximately 6.6 metres in length and 2 metres in width.

Order Title:- Central Bedfordshire Council (Bedfordshire County Council (District of South Bedfordshire) (Civil Enforcement Area and Special Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2008) (Variation No.22) Order 2026.

Date of Operation:- The Order will come into operation on the 30th June 2026.

On 16th June 2026 Central Bedfordshire Council made the below named Traffic Regulation Order which has the effect as follows:-

To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following length of road in Leighton Buzzard:-

1. Plantation Road, east side, from the junction with Carnation Close, extending in a northerly direction for approximately 11 metres.

2. Plantation Road, east side, from the junction with Carnation Close, extending in a

southerly direction for approximately 18 metres.

3. Carnation Close, both sides, from the junction with Plantation Road, extending in an easterly direction for approximately 12 metres.

Order Title:- Central Bedfordshire Council (Bedfordshire County Council (District of South Bedfordshire) (Civil Enforcement Area and Special Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2008) (Variation No.34) Order 2026.

Date of Operation:- The Order will come into operation on the 30th June 2026.

Please Note:- The restrictions introduced by this Order have been in operation on site for some time under previous provisions. However, it has been identified that an error occurred in the original Order, and as such, this Order is being re-made to accurately reflect and formalise the restrictions as they currently exist on site. There is no change to the extent or effect of the restrictions previously in force.
