(JAMES WATT QUEENSWAY, LADYWOOD – 17150548) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding along James Watt Queensway to Lancaster Street including Moor Street Queensway, Newtown Row, Dale End and Newtown Street.
The temporary Order is required to enable Survey Works to be carried out in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 13th July 2026 and will remain in force for a period of 10 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
