What is happening?

THE NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(South Carr Lane, Hibaldstow to Hibaldstow Bridge) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that, on 24th June 2026, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit the driving of any vehicle with the exemption of emergency vehicles and authorised users on the roads described in the Schedule. This Order will take effect on 26 th June 2026. A copy of the Order, together with a statement of reasons and plan showing the road affected, can be seen at the Brigg Local Link Office and the Church Square House Council Offices. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that a requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with you may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
