MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A44, neu gerllaw iddi, rhwng Llangurig, Powys ac Aberystwyth, Ceredigion.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gosod terfyn cyflymder dros dro o 40 mya, 30 mya neu 10 mya ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A44 rhwng ei chyffordd gylchfan â’r A470 yn Llangurig a’i chyffordd â’r A487 yn Aberystwyth. Dim ond yn ystod gwaith confoi y bydd y terfyn cyflymder o 10 mya yn weithredol a ni chaniateir goddiweddyd ar yr adegau hynny.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18 Gorffennaf 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y cyfyngiadau a’r gwaharddiad dros dro, y bydd eu hyd a’u lled yn amrywio, yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol o 08:00 o’r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf. Bydd hysbysiad am yr holl waith yn ystod y cyfnod hwn yn cael ei arddangos cyn i unrhyw waith ddechrau.

THE A44 TRUNK ROAD (LLANGURIG, POWYS TO ABERYSTWYTH, CEREDIGION) (TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS & NO OVERTAKING) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A44 trunk road between Llangurig, Powys and Aberystwyth, Ceredigion.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a temporary 40 mph, 30 mph or 10 mph speed limit on the length of the A44 trunk road between its roundabout junction with the A470 at Llangurig and its junction with the A487 at Aberystwyth. The 10 mph speed limit will only apply during convoy working and no overtaking will be permitted during these times.

The Order will come into force on 18 July 2026. The temporary restrictions and prohibition, whose extent will vary, are expected to operate intermittently from 08:00 hours on that date for a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice of all works during this period will be displayed before they start.
