(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Feering Road, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 100m south east of its junction with East Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th July 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30070547069 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via B1024, A120, A12, B1024 and vice versa (with access only into Coggeshall Road and Feering Road).
The Order will come into effect on 26th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Stoneham Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th July 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03166829931 & AD03110605889 – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).
An alternative route is available via Vane Lane, Church Street, Stoneham Street and vice versa (with access only into Queen Street).
The Order will come into effect on 26th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
