TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 15th June 2026.
1. The effect of the Order will be to close Cambridge Road, from its junction with Avenue Road to its junction with Alma Road.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are Comm pipe relay.
3. The alternative route will be via Alma Road, The Avenue, Lodge Road, Rose Road, Avenue Road.
4. The Order will come into force on 22nd June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is currently expected that the works will take 5 days to complete.
