TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 not less than seven days from the date hereof the Highway Authority being satisfied that the restrictions are necessary because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
The effect of the Order, which will come into effect on 6th July 2026, will be to temporarily close Green Vale Grove, Stockton, from its junction with Aiskew Grove in a southerly direction for approximately 30 metres, at such times as traffic management signs may be erected to notify highway users of the closure. It is expected works will be carried out between approximately 6th July and 27th July 2026. The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. Access for pedestrians will be maintained, access for emergency vehicles will not be maintained.
