(STATION ROAD, SKEWEN, NEATH) (REVOCATION) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING,LOADING OR UNLOADING AT ANY TIME) AND (LOADING ONLY) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that the Council intends to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 32 and 35of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act of 1984") and of all other powers them enabling and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police inaccordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule below.
A copy of the draft Order, plan and statement of reasons can be inspected on the Council's Internet Website https://www.npt.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders-tros.
Any objections should be submitted in writing, setting out the reasons thereof, to reach the Head of Engineering and Transport, The Quays, Baglan Energy Park SA11 2GG by 14thJuly 2026.

Schedule 1 - Revocation
To revoke any loading bay orders and prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading at anytime orders in so far as it relates to the lengths and sides of the road set out in Schedule 2,Schedule 3 and Schedule 4 of this Order.
Schedule 2 - Proposed No Waiting, Loading or Unloading At Any Time
2.1 Dynevor Road, Skewen (South Side)
From its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 13 metres in a westerly direction.
2.2 Dynevor Road, Skewen (South Side)
From its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 6 metres in an easterly direction
2.3 Station Road, Skewen (West Side)
From its junction with Dynevor Road for a distance of approximately 140 metres in a southerly direction.
2.4 Station Road, Skewen (East Side)
From its junction with Dynevor Road for a distance of approximately 11 metres in asoutherly direction.
2.5 Station Road, Skewen (East Side)
From a point approximately 26 metres south of its junction with Dynevor Road for a distance of approximately 8 metres in a southerly then easterly direction.
2.6 Station Road, Skewen (East Side)
From a point approximately 38 metres south of its junction with Dynevor Road for a distance of approximately 47 metres in a southerly direction.
2.7 Station Road, Skewen (East Side)
From its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 47 metres in a northerly direction.
2.8 New Road, Skewen (North Side)
From its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 4 metres in a westerly direction.
2.9 New Road, Skewen (North Side)
From its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 12 metres in an easterly direction.
Schedule 3 - Proposed Loading Only, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm
3.1 Station Road, Skewen (East Side)
From a point approximately 11 metres south of its junction with Dynevor Road for a distance of approximately 16 metres in a southerly direction.
Schedule 4 - Proposed Loading Only, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, 30 minutes
4.1 Station Road, Skewen (East Side)
From a point approximately 47 metres north of its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 11 metres in a northerly direction.
