Gloucestershire County Council - Multiple temporary road closures

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for Pre Surface Treatment Patching Works. There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 1st July 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times
will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 30th November 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or
until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE A4151 CHURCH STREET
(LITTLEDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A4151 Church Street Road, from outside the property known as ‘Littledean Jail Museum’ for a distance of approximately 40 metres. The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 16:00hrs on 28th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE C25 ROAD FROM JUNCTION WITH BRANCHES ROAD TO JUNCTION WITH MOORHEN LANE
(AWRE PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C25 Road from junction with Branches Road to junction with Moorhen Lane for a distance of approximately 1.050 kilometres. The reason for the said closure is for
maintenance to the level crossing.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF C7 ROAD FROM BEANHILL COTTAGE TO SPOUT HILL
(ALVINGTON PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C7 Road from Beanhill Cottage to Spout Hill to prevent any stopping, loading or unloading from outside of the property known as ‘Mill House’ for approximately 230 metres north, for a total distance of approximately 230 metres. The reason for this closure and restriction is to allow for road ditching works.
There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works. The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 13th July 2026 until 17th July 2026 only or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. from outside of the property known as ‘Westbury’ to outside of the property known as ‘The Willows’ for a distance of approximately 140 metres. The reason for the said closure is for repairs to a retaining wall. The said road is expected to be closed from 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs daily from the 13th July 2026 to 31st July 2026 only. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 403079 Maze Walk Road from outside the property known as ‘Orchard Cottages’ to outside of the property known
as ‘Jacaranda’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres. The reason for the said closure is for a new waste water connection from Orchard Barn to the existing sewer located in Maze Walk.
The said road is expected to be closed from 13th July 2026 until 7th August 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
