Hembridge Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Openreach Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of East Pennard Temporary Closure of Hembridge Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hembridge Road - from 348 metres south-east of the junction with Drove Lane, southwards for a total distance of 7 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 3rd July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th July 2026 and last until 8th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
