Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U63400 Summerfield Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U63400 Summerfield Rd from its junction with U63411 Vandra Cl to its junction with U63402 Duke of Edinburgh Way.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U63400 Queen Elizabeth Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, C2237 Lower Howsell Rd, U63400 Summerfield Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days (24hr) between 23 June 2026 and 3 July 2026.

(Link Footpath F60186 Queen Elizabeth Road to Princess Margaret Avenue, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F60186 Queen Elizabeth Rd from its junction with A449 Worcester Rd to its junction with U63401 Princess Margaret Ave.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: Pedestrians to use opposite footway to work on U63400 Queen Elizabeth Rd and U63401 Princess Margaret Ave.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days (24hrs). Commencing: 26 June 2026.

(U60401 Ferry Lane, Uckinghall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U60401 Ferry Ln (triangular junction) from its junction with U60402 Uckinghall for a distance of 26 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Replacement electricity cable by National Grid.

Alternative route: U60402 Uckinghall, U60401 Ferry Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 14 July 2026.

(U63434 Jamaica Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63434 Jamaica Rd from its junction with U63436 Bosbury Rd to its junction with U63435 Lechmere Cres.

Reason: New vehicle crossing installation by WCC.

Alternative route: U63436 Bosbury Rd, C2205 Upper Howsell Rd, U63425 Church Rd, U63434 Jamaica Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 13 July 2026.

(U63204 Victoria Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63204 Victoria Rd from its junction with U63206 Albert Rd North to its junction with U63205 Como Rd.

Reason: telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: U63206 Albert Rd North, U63205 Como Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 17 July 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath MW-501 Malvern Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close Footpath MW-501 Malvern Wells from U63018 Eaton Road OSGR 377171, 243466 to U63019 Hanley Terrace GR 377222, 243449.

The Order has been made due to a dangerous surface.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U63018 Eaton Road, U63019 Hanley Terrace and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing from 4 June 2026.
