TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – DEAN STREET, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of Dean Street from outside No.38 southwards for approximately 15 metres.
(b) To maintain access during this closure it will be necessary to suspend the One-Way Traffic Order on Dean Street from the junction of Upper North Street southwards for approximately 84 metres.
2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry out a new gas connection. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.
3. This Order comes into force on 6 July 2026 for eighteen months or until such oner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 14 July 2026.
