The Hammersmith and Fulham (Charged-For Parking Places) (AmendmentNo.57) Order 2026The Hammersmith and Fulham (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.57) Order 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of ] Hammersmith and Fulham made the abovementioned Orders under the powers granted by sections 6, 45, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders, which will come into force on 01 st July 2026, will be to:

(a) Introduce new, extended parking controls in Cromwell Avenue and Weltje Road and Rivercourt Road between its junctions with King Street and the Great West Road which would operate on Monday to Sunday 8:30am to 10pm.

(b) Introduce a maximum stay restriction of 2 Hours for pay and display and RingGo parking.

3. Resident visitors using the Resident Visitor Permit or businesses using the Business Visitor Permit will be exempt from the maximum stay restriction.

4. Resident and Business Permit holders with a valid Zone M permit will still be able to park in these roads and residents and businesses located within these roads will still be able to park in the rest of Zone M.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
