TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (GOLBORNE ROAD and Side roads) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. The road is to be closed to vehicles for filming.
The restrictions will come into force from 07.00hrs until 19.00hrs on Sunday 5th July 2026, with a backup date of Monday 6th July 2026.
Golborne Road to be closed between Elkstone Road and Portobello Road, with restricted access for the side roads.
• Diverted through traffic may use Golborne Road, Kensal Road, Ladbroke Grove, Chesterton Road, Golborne Road. Bevington Road to be closed at the junction of Golborne Road.
• Diverted through traffic may use Bevington Road, Blagrove Road, Raddington Road, Oxford Gardens, Ladbroke Grove, Kensal Road, Golborne Road. St Ervans Road, prohibited left hand turn into Golborne Road.
• Diverted through traffic may use Golborne Road, Kensal Road, Ladbroke Grove, Chesterton Road, Golborne Road. Wornington Road, prohibited left and right hand turns into Golborne Road.
• Diverted through traffic may use Wornington Road, Murchison Gardens, Portobello Road, Telford Road, Ladbroke Grove, Kensal Road, Golborne Road. Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
