Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure Due To Ducting & HV Power Cable Works

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend.under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1195 From B4348 To Woodfleld Cottage, Temporary Road Closure Order 2026, to temporarily prohibit theuse by vehicles on the C1195 From B4348 To Woodfield Cottage, from the B4348 to Wellbrook. Grid Ref: 334800/238228 to 335291/238676.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1195 Watery Lane onto the B4352 to Clehongeronto the B4359 to Kingstone onto the B4358 to Peterchurch and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to ducting and HV power cable works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) with an initial planned closure of 3 weeks, followed by a second planned closure of 2 weeks from 17th August 2026.
