NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U92613- Welshmans Lane, Bircher, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92613- Welshmans Lane- Bircher, near to Byecroft Cottage. Grid Ref: 346698/265834.
There is no alternative route For those affected by the proposal but access is to be maintained.
The said closure is required due to pole testing works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day (9.30-15.30hrs).
