TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (HALSEY STREET) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Halsey Street to be closed from outside of number 4 to the junction of the Cadogan Street.
The restrictions will come into force from 09.00hrs on Monday 6th July 2026 until 15.00hrs on Tuesday 7th July 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Halsey Street, Milner Street, Moore Street, Cadogan Street, in both directions.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
