What is happening?

Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (PARTINGTON LANE AND DEANS ROAD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LIMITED WAITING PARKING PLACES AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following: NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: B5231 Partington Lane, (i) north west side, from 17m north east of the northern extended kerbline of Deans Road in a south-westerly direction to a point 10m north of the northerly extended kerbline of Fernlea Crescent, (ii) south east side, from 11m north east of the northern extended kerbline of Stanwell Road to a point 10m south west of the southern extended kerbline of Chester Street. Deans Road, north side, from the north western extended kerbline of B5231 Partington Lane to the eastern extended kerbline of Stockton Street. 

LIMITED WAITING PARKING PLACE, 10AM-3PM MON-FRI MAX. STAY 1 HOUR, NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS (EXEMPTION FOR PERMIT HOLDERS): B5231 Partington Lane, north west side, from 47m north east of the northern extended kerbline of Deans Road for 13m in a northerly direction. Deans Road, south side, from 15m west of the western extended kerbline of B5231 Partington Lane for 10m in a westerly direction. 

LIMITED WAITING PARKING PLACE, 7.30AM-6.30PM MON-FRI, MAX. STAY 1 HOUR, NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS: B5231 Partington Lane, north west side, from a point 17m north east of the northern extended kerbline of Deans Road for 30m in a northerly direction. Existing Orders shall be amended to accommodate the proposals. A copy of the proposed Order, the Orders it is proposed to amend, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
