What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Farnborough International Airshow to take place out on or near the road.  
ROADS TO BE CLOSED - From Monday 13th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026 between 12:00-17:00:   A323 Fleet Road between its junction with Ively Road and its junction with Laffans Road. Aldershot Road between its junction with A323 Fleet Road and to the eastern boundary of The Foresters public house.   From Monday 20th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026:   Rae Road between its junction with A325 Farnborough Road and its junction with Trenchard Way. (Except FIL approved passes)    
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS -   To impose a 40-mph temporary speed restriction on the following roads from Monday 15th June 2026 to Sunday 2nd August 2026:   A325 Farnborough Road between its junction with Lynchford Road and its junction with Wellington Roundabout.   A323 Fleet Road between its junction with A325 Farnborough Road and its junction with Ively Road.  
Clubhouse Road between its junction with A323 Fleet Road and its junction with A325 on slip.  
Aldershot Road between its junction with A325 Farnborough Road and continuing to a point 500 metres Southeast on Aldershot Road.  
To impose a 50-mph temporary speed restriction on the following roads from Friday 24th July 2026 to Sunday 2nd August 2026:   A331 between its junction with A323 Ash Road and its junction with A325 Farnborough Road.  To impose a 30-mph temporary speed restriction on the following roads from Monday 13th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026:   Bourley Road between its junction with Beacon Hill Road and its junction with Wellesley Road.  
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME - No waiting on the following roads for the duration set out:   Monday 15th June 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026:   Aldershot Road between its junction with Fleet Road and continuing to a point 500 metres Southwest on Aldershot Road.  Clubhouse Road between its junction with Fleet Road and its junction with A325 Farnborough Road.  Elles Road between its junction with Sulzers Roundabout and its junction with Ively Road.  Fleet Road between its junction with Ively Road and its junction with A325 Farnborough Road.  Ively Road between its junction with Elles Road and its junction with Kennels Lane.  Ively Road between its junction with Elles Road and its junction with Southwood Road.  
Laffans Road for its entire length.   Monday 13th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026:   A325 Farnborough Road between its junction with Rae Road and its junction with Aircraft Esplanade.   Rae Road for its entire length.   Monday 20th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026:   A325 Farnborough Road between its junction with Lynchford Road and its junction with Boundary Road. (Clearway)   Aldershot Road for its entire length.   Alexandra Road from a point 15 metres South of its junction with Wetherby Gardens and continuing to a point 15 metres South of its junction with Cross Street.   Arrow Road between its junction with Elles Road and its junction with Marrowbrook Lane   Bourley Road between its junction with Beacon Hill Road and its junction with Bourley Lane.   Brook Gardens for its entire length.   Church Road West between its junction with Farnborough Road and its junction with Alexandra Road.   Cody Road for its entire length.   Cross Street between its junction with Alexandra Road and continuing to a point 15 metres East of its junction with Osborne Road.   Farnborough Road between its junction with Cranmore Lane and continuing to a point North until the Farnborough/Aldershot boundary.   Farnborough Road (East Side) from its junction with Aircraft Esplanade in a southerly direction to the boundary of Nos. 44/46 Farnborough Road. Farnborough Road (East Side) from a point 46 metres south of the southern boundary of No. 242 Farnborough Road in a southerly direction to a point 18 metres north of the southern boundary of No. 216 Farnborough Road. Farnborough Road (West Side) from a point 35 metres south of its junction with Aircraft Esplanade in a southerly direction to its junction with Cross Street. Farnborough Road between its junction with Farnborough/Aldershot boundary and its junction with Lynchford Road. Forge Lane between its junction with Farnborough Road and its junction with Shoe Lane. Government House Road for its entire length. Kempton Court for its entire length. Hazel Avenue for its entire length. Lynchford Road (Old Section) between its junction with Park Road and continuing to a point in a Westerly direction to the boundary of Nos. 259/261. Lynchford Road (Old Section) (South Side) between its junction with Southampton Street and its junction with Winchester Street. Meudon Avenue between its junction with Sulzers Roundabout and its junction with A325 Pinehurst Roundabout. Netley Street between its junction with Farnborough Road and its junction with Southampton Street. Netley Street between its junction with Alexandra Road and its junction with Winchester Street. Osborne Road from a point 15 metres North of its junction with Cross Street and its junction with Guildford Road West. Park Road between its junction with Lynchford Road and its junction with Old Lynchford Road. Queens Road from a point 15 metres West of its junction with Park Road and continuing to a point 15 metres West on Queens Road. Queens Gate Road between its junction with Government House Road and continuing to a point 50 metres North of its junction with ETPS Road. Reading Road from a point 15 metres West of its junction with Rivers Close and its junction with Canterbury Road. Shoe Lane between its junction with Forge Lane and its junction with Government House Road. Southampton Street between its junction with Farnborough Road and continuing to a point of No.59 Southampton Street. Winchester Street between its junction with Netley Street and continuing to a point 15 metres South on Winchester Street. Station Road (East Side) between its junction with Union Street and continuing to a point 50 metres South on Station Road. (Except for Buses)   NO RIGHT TURN - those parts of the following roads:   Between the times 07:00-14:00 on Monday 20th July 2026 until Friday 24th July 2026:   Alexandra Road- No right turn into Netley Street. Netley Street- No right turn into Alexandra Road. Alexandra Road- No right turn into Queens Road. Queens Road- No right turn into Alexandra Road.     Saturday 18th July 2026 until Saturday 25th July 2026:   Queens Gate Road- No right turn into Government House Road. Government House Road- No right turn into Queens Gate Road. (Except for Buses)   Monday 13th July 2026 until Sunday 2nd August 2026:   A323 Fleet Road- No right turn into Laffans Road. Laffans Road- No right turn into A323 Fleet Road.   Until the time 22:00 on Sunday 19th July 2026 until Friday 24th July 2026   Salesian View, South Street and Whites Road- No right turns into Park Road.   Monday 20th July 2026 until Friday 24th July 2026   Lynchford Road- No right turns into Morris Road A325 Farnborough Road-No person shall cause or permit any vehicle on A325 Farnborough Road between its junction with Boundary Road and its junction with Lynchford Road to turn right onto any road or premises adjoining the A325 Farnborough Road. A325 Farnborough Road-No person shall cause or permit any vehicle exiting any premises or road adjoining the A325 Farnborough Road between its junction with Boundary Road and its junction with Lynchford Road to turn right onto A325 Farnborough Road.   NO LEFT TURN - those parts of the following roads:   Until the time 22:00 on Sunday 19th July 2026 until Friday 24th July 2026   Lynchford Road and Falkland Court- No left turns into Park Road.   ONE-WAY SUSPENSION- To impose a one-way road on the following roads:   Lynchford Road (Old Section): The one-way restriction will make Lynchford Road Eastbound only between its junction with A3011 Lynchford Road and its junction with Winchester Street. (Monday 20th July 2026- Friday 24th July 2026 between the hours 06:00-14:00) Institute Road: The one-way restriction will make Institute Road Northbound only between its junction Napier Gardens Car Park and its junction with Lynchford Road. (Monday 20th July 2026- Friday 24th July 2026 between the hours 15:00-20:00) Lynchford Road: The one-way restriction will make Lynchford Road Westbound only between its junction with Park Road and its junction with Alexandra Road and also between its junctions with Alexandra Road and its junction with Old Lynchford Road. (Monday 20th July 2026- Friday 24th July 2026 between the hours 06:00-14:00) Lynchford Road: The one-way restriction will make Lynchford Road Eastbound only between its junction with Alexandra Road and its junction with Lynchford Road Interchange. (Monday 20th July 2026- Friday 24th July 2026 between the hours 15:00-20:00) Park Road: The one-way restriction will make Park Road Southbound only between its junction with Reading Road and its junction with Lynchford Road. (Saturday 18th July 2026 at 12:00 until Friday 24th July 2026 at 22:00) A323 Fleet Road: The one-way restriction will make A323 Fleet Road Westbound only between its junction with Laffans Road and its junction with Ively Road. (Monday 20th July 2026- Friday 24th July 2026 between the hours 15:00-20:00) Clubhouse Road: The one-way restriction will make Clubhouse Road Eastbound only between its junction with A323 Fleet Road and its junction with A325 Northbound on slip. (Monday 20th July 2026- Friday 24th July 2026 between the hours 15:00-20:00)     NO ENTRY - No person shall cause any vehicle proceeding along the roads specified first to enter or leave any of the roads specified second, during the hours and on the days specified below: From Monday 20th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026:   Church Road West to A325 Farnborough Road.   Netley Street to A325 Farnborough Road. Cross Street to Osborne Road. From Monday 20th July 2026 to Thursday 23rd July 2026 between 07:00-14:00:   Southampton Street to Lynchford Road (Old Section). Osborne Road to Lynchford Road (Old Section). Netley Street to immediately west of its Junction with Winchester Street. Peabody Road to 15 metres North of its Junction with Lynchford Road. From Monday 20th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026 between 06:00-14:00:   Lynchford Road to Old Lynchford Road (Western End). Old Lynchford Road to Lynchford Road.   From Saturday 18th July 2026 at 12:00 to Friday 24th July 2026 at 22:00:   Closeworth Road to Park Road. Queens Road to Park Road.   From Monday 20th July 2026 to Thursday 23rd July 2026 between 06:00-14:00:   Alexandra Road (Southbound only) to Lynchford Road. (except buses)   From Monday 13th July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026 between 12:30-20:00:   A323 Fleet Road to A325 Farnborough Road (except for access). A323 Fleet Road (Norris Hill Roundabout) to Ively Road (Southbound exit).  
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES - Diversions will be posted on site during the closure periods    
DURATION OF ORDER: from Saturday 13th June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Monday 3rd August 2026 and this order will be in operation as per the above schedule.)   The Road Restrictions have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Farnborough International Airshow 2026.
