ALL ENGLAND LAWN TENNIS CLUB EVENT DAYS -
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
- The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on the recommendation of the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that for purposes relating to danger or damage connected with terrorism, they have made an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in various streets in the said London Borough, as required, during Event Days at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Church Road, SW19.
Between 06.00 on Monday 29th June 2026 and 23.59 on Monday 13th July 2026, when and where appropriate signs are being displayed, no person shall:-
(a) enter or proceed in:-
(i) Wimbledon Park Road – from its junction with Victoria Drive to a point immediately south of its junction with Princes Way;
(ii) Victoria Drive – from its junction with Wimbledon Park Road to its junction with Albert Drive; and
(iii) Bathgate Road - from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Queensmere Road.
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
- The Order confers powers to police constables and persons authorised by them to direct that any provision of the Order be suspended, commenced or revived, and to place barriers and obstructions on the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above, as they consider appropriate. The Order also confers the power of discretion to police constables and authorised persons which would enable them to facilitate limited access to certain vehicles and pedestrians, including residents and those wishing to attend the event.

PROPOSED MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS
COVERTON ROAD – SW17
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6 and 45 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
• The Wandsworth (Tooting Broadway) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 20
• *The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. *) Order 202;
- The general effect of the Orders would be to provide Resident Permit Holder Only parking outside numbers 52 to 102 Coverton Road and to introduce a no waiting ‘At Any Time’ restriction (double yellow lines) adjacent to the fire hydrant outside number 52 Coverton Road.
- Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
- Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – GATTON ROAD SW17
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Gatton Road to facilitate Thames Water Mains Replacement.
- Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Gatton Road from outside number 1A to the junction with Tooting High Street. The one-way restriction will also be removed to maintain access. There will be no waiting at any time.
- Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

- The order will come into operation on 30 June 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 7 July 2026.

- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Longmead Road to facilitate a Crane Operation.
- Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Longmead Road from the junction with Ashvale Road to the junction with Mitcham Road. There will be no waiting 00:30–05:30.
- Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

- The order will come into operation on 30 June 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 2 July 2026.

- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Longwood Drive to facilitate Cadent Gas Mains Replacement works.
- Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Longwood Drive from the Junction of Roehampton High Street to the junction of Westmead (Full Road closure). There will be no waiting at any time.
- Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

- The order will come into operation on 29 June 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 8 July 2026.

- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Thessaly Road to facilitate Happy Streets Festival.
- Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Thessaly Road from the junction with Ascalon Street to the junction with Corunna Road. There will be no waiting 07:00 - 21:00.
- Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
