MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (b), 22C and 22D
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order: ORDER NO. MCC150900008: Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order in accordance with its powers under s.14(1) (b), 22C and 22D of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: The Chief Officer of Police for the area to which this Order relates recommended that the Order be made, and the Council of the City of Manchester ("the Council") being the Traffic Authority for the area, is thereby satisfied that the public should be prohibited at all times from using - the Unnamed footpath between Bury Old Road and Eaton Road running adjacent to King David School and Anchor Court - because of the likelihood of danger to the public relating to danger or damage connected with terrorism.
The diversion for Pedestrians will be via: Bury Old Road, Seymour Road, St Mary's Hall Road, Eaton Road. The Order shall come into operation on 20 June 2026 and may remain in force until 30th November 2026 or until such time as the Chief Officer of Police recommends otherwise in which case this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. The Order continues in effect the provisions of the 21-day Notice issued on 1 June 2026 by the Director of Highways in relation to the same said unnamed footpath to which this Notice relates.
