MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC150321532: The City of Manchester (West Mosley Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on West Mosley Street from York Street to Spring Gardens. The alternative routes for traffic will be: York Street, New York Street, Back George Street, Charlotte Street, Spring Gardens, Fountain Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Telecom works with the use of a MEWP. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 7th July 2026 to 9th July 2026 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 [X2 Night Shifts]. The order shall come into operation on 7th July 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
