(OXFORD AREA – VARIOUS STREETS) (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (VARIATION NO.15) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that on 15 June 2026 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order, which comes into force on 22 June introduces an exemption to the following restriction sites currently enforced by ANPR camera, for Urgent Community Responders* (UCR) carrying out their statutory duties:

"Urgent Community Responders (UCR) means appropriately qualified persons employed by an NHS Trust whose duties include the provision of Urgent Community Response services to the public as defined in the NHS Long Term Plan.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Area – Various Streets) (Traffic Management) Order 2022 is further amended as necessary.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 15 June 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (STANTON ST. JOHN PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order – in support of the wider ‘Quiet Lanes’ programme – proposes to amend the existing village wide 20mph speed limit in Stanton St John as follows:
1. Extend the existing 20mph speed limit on Pound Lane to its junction with the B4027 Wheatley Road, a distance of approx.85 metres – replacing the remaining length of existing 50mph speed limit in the process.
This proposal supplements the speed limit changes previously proposed for Shepherds Pit Lane & the B4027 Wheatley Road.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Stanton St. John Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2023 revoked/replaced as required.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the end of 10 July 2026.
