Proposed Order: To close that part of C2068 Moseley Rd from its junction with A443 Main Rd for a distance of 365 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: C2068 Moseley Rd (part), C2069 Worlds End, C2256 Dark Ln, A443 Main Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days (24hrs). Commencing: 14 July 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50207 Longfellow Rd from its junction with U50209 Blanquettes Ave to its junction with U50208 Shelley Cl.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: U50207 Longfellow Rd (part), U50200 Wordsworth Ave, U50201 Eliot Rd, U50203 Keats Ave, U50207 Longfellow Rd (part) and vice versa.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U60408 Baughton from its junction with A4104 Baughton to its junction with U60407 Baughton.
Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation work by WCC.
Alternative route: U60407 Baughton, A4104 Baughton and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 July 2026.

(U51323 Maple Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51323 Maple Ave from its junction with B4637 Tolladine Rd to its junction with U51322 Birch Ave.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Proposed Order: To close that part of A38 Main Rd from its junction with C2208 Post Office Ln to its junction with U60055 Derrington Gardens.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing in civil works by WCC.
Alternative route: A38 Main Rd (part), A38 Worcester Rd, A4440 Temeside Way, A449 The Village, B4244 Upton Rd, B4424 The Rhydd, B4211 Worcester Rd, B4211 Hanley Rd, A4104 Waterside, A4104 Holly Green, A38 Worcester Rd, A38 Severn Stoke, A38 Sandford, A38 Clifton, A38 Main Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00-06:00) between 13 July 2026 and 24 July 2026.

(U62005 Lower Ferry Lane, Callow End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62005 Lower Ferry Ln from its junction with U62006 Upper Ferry Ln to its junction with U62007 Orchard Way.
Reason: Utility work by Openreach.
Alternative route: U62005 Lower Ferry Ln (part), U62004 Pixham, B4424 Old Hills, B4424 Upton Rd, U62005 Lower Ferry Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 16 July 2026.

(U50365 Green Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50365 Green Ln from its junction with U50319 Northwick Rd to its junction with A449 Ombersley Rd.
Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent.
Alternative route: A449 Ombersley Rd, U50372 Grange Ave, U50367 Bevere Cl South, U50366 Bevere Cl, U50319 Northwick Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 July 2026.

(U64208 Shrawley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U64208 Shrawley from its junction with U64209 Rectory Ln for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Repairs to a damaged wall due to a road traffic collision by Connor Moore.
No access for the emergency services, the diversion route must be maintained.
Alternative route: B4196 Shrawley, C2234 Shrawley and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days. Commencing: 13 July 2026.

(C2029 Claines Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2029 Claines Ln from its junction with A38 Droitwich Rd to its junction with C2138 School Bank.
Reason: Duct clearance by Comex.
No access for emergency services. Diversion route will need to be followed.
Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Rd, C2281 Checketts Ln, A449 Ombersley Rd, C2138 Cornmeadow Ln, C2029 Claines Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 22 June 2026.

(U52009 Lichfield Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U52009 Lichfield Ave from its junction with U52010 Carlisle Rd to its junction with U52004 Canterbury Rd.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: U52010 Carlisle Rd, U52004 Canterbury Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days between 22 June 2026 and 30 June 2026.

Order made: To close that part of C2256 Sinton Green from its junction with U64008 Walton Ln for a distance of 200 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Drainage work by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of U42407 Bredicot Village Rd from its junction with A4538 Pershore Ln for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Underground Cabling works by Openreach.
Alternative route: A4538 Pershore Ln, U42408 Rd from A4538 Pershore Ln to Bredicot Village, U42407 Bredicot Village Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days. Commencing: 25 June 2026.

(A4536 Blackpole Road Entry Slip Road/A449 Worcester Northern Link East Slip Road, Worcester)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of:

1. Entry Slip Road from A4536 Blackpole Road onto C2075 Hindlip Lane for a distance of 52 metres in a north westerly direction.
2. Exit Slip Road from A449 Worcester Northern Link onto B4550 Blackpole Road in its entirety.
   Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.
   Alternative route:

• Closure 1 Diversion – A4536 Blackpole Rd.
• Closure 2 Diversion – A449 Worcester Northern Link, A449 Claines Roundabout, A449 Worcester Northern Link (Eastbound), A4536 Hurst Ln, A4536 Blackpole Rd.
  Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 22 June 2026.

Order made: To close that part of U43009 Cowsden from its junction with B4082 Naunton Rd to its junction with U43010 Greenway Ln.
Reason: New customer connection by STW.

Order made: To close that part of U52312 The Hill Ave from its junction with U52309 St Dunstans Cres to its junction with A38 Bath Rd.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Alternative route: U52309 St Dunstans Cres, U52131 Battenhall Rd, U52308 Timberdine Ave, A38 Bath Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 22 June 2026 and 3 July 2026.

(C2012 Abberton Lane, Abberton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2012 Abberton Ln from its junction with U43604 Bishampton Rd for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Utility works by Openreach.
Alternative route: U43604 Bishampton Rd, C2010 Radford Rd, C2010 Alcester Rd, C2012 Abberton Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 24 June 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Bridleyway BH-570, Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 8 January 2026 the effect of which is to close that part of Bridleway BH-570, Broadheath from its junction with footpaths BH-569 & BH-550 (grid ref: 382544, 255976) to its junction with footpaths BH-586 & BH-571 (grid ref: 382640, 255730) which was due to expire on 19 June 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 19 December 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to flooding and resurfacing works.
Alternative route: There is no alternative route available.

(A38 Bath Road, Broomhall) (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A38 Bath Rd from a point 150 metres north of its junction with U60001 Broomhall Ln for a distance of 150 metres in a northerly direction and in both directions.

Reason: Water main replacement by STW.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 July 2026.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2026

[Experimental prohibition of waiting and waiting restrictions on Horsford Road and Riverview Close, Worcester]

On 4 June 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order the effect of which will impose prohibition of waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Riverview Close and Horsford Road

(Northeast side):
from a point 2m north of the junction to the access to the Recycle Centre for a distance of 38m in a north easterly direction into the access from the junction.

(Southeast side):
from a point 3m south of the junction to the access to the Recycle Centre for a distance of 38m in a north easterly direction into the access from the junction.

(Southwest side):
from a point 8m from the junction with Horsford Road in a northerly direction and continuing into Horsford Road for a distance of 19m in a westerly direction.

(Northwest side):
from a point 6m from the junction with Horsford Road in a southerly direction and continuing into Horsford Road for a distance of 18m in a westerly direction.

Waiting Restrictions 8.30am–4.30pm Mon-Sat

Horsford Road (South side):
from a point 19m from the junction with Riverview Close for a distance of 55m in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles).

The Experimental Order will come into operation on 25 June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
