What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(LODGE ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Lodge Road from its junction with Oxley
Links Road to outside property 40.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on 1st July 2026, between the hours of
09:30 and 15:00.
The diversion route is: Ribbesford Avenue,
Greenwood Road, Stafford Road, Oxley Moor Road,
Beech Road, Churchfield Road & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the replacement of a
decayed pole by BT.
