Notice is hereby given that Ashford Borough Council (the Council”) in exercise of its powers under sections 32, 33, 35, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (“the 1984 act”) and section 43 and schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act (“the 1991 Act”) Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf and with the consent of the Kent County Council given under section 30(3) of the 1984 Act and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of schedule 9 to the 1984 Act hereby intend to make the following Order:-
The effect of the made Order will be to introduce a new car park in the borough of Ashford.

A full statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a plan indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined at Ashford Borough Council, International House, Dover Place, Ashford, TN23 1HU by appointment booked through consultation@ashford.gov.uk or viewed online from midday on Monday 22 June 2026 at www.ashford.gov.uk
