NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for remedial carriageway resurfacing works, Leeds City Council today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Wide Lane and Dewsbury Road, Morley, Leeds in the Morley South Ward slip road at its junctions with Dewsbury Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Wide Lane, Dewsbury Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Friday 26th June 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 30th June 2026. All communications with regard to this Notice should be addressed to streetworks.coordin@leeds.gov.uk for the attention of G Pugh.
