Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposed to make the following Order:-
The effect of the named Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions (DYL means double yellow lines “no waiting at any time” restrictions) on the following length of road in Tenterden Borough of Ashford:-
SMALLHYTHE ROAD – (DYL) – On the north east side 20 metres from its junction with Longfield for a distance of 88.5 metres in a south easterly direction. .

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposed to make the following Order:-

UN-NAMED ROAD – On both sides from its junction with Beaver Lane for a distance of 8 metres.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The Kent County Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers and under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act‘), the Traffic Management 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following Order:-
The effect of the named Order will introduce or amend double yellow lines (DYL) no waiting restrictions at any time on the following length of roads in Dover:-
CASTLE AVENUE – On the south west side please school keep clear markings Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4.00pm across the entrance to Dover Grammar School for Girls. FRITH ROAD - DYL – (1) On the east side remove the school keep clear markings. (2) On the east side place DYL from the southern boundary of 30 Frith Road for a distance of 71 metres in a northerly direction joining up the lines and bus stop clearway. (3) On the west place an unrestricted parking bay between the junctions of St Alphege Road and Avenue Road.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the Order is to introduce a no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Higham, Gravesham:-
NORAH LANE – On both side of its junction with Vill Road for a distance of 10 meters in a westerly direction. VILLA ROAD – On both sides of the junction with Norah Lane to a point 10 metres north east and 10 meters south west.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that The Kent County Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority, in exercise of its powers and under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-
The effect of the named Order is to place double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Maidstone:-
BICKNOR ROAD - On the east side from a point in line with the southern boundary of 159 Bicknor Road for a distance of 2 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order was made on 25 June 2026 and its provisions will come into effect on 26 June 2026.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.

(SPEED LIMITS) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2025 (AMENDMENT No.5) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council hereby proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to replace the current speed limit and replace with a 20MPH speed zone in Lamberhurst, Tunbridge Wells on the following length of roads:-
PARSONAGE LANE – From its southern junction with School Hill for a distance of approx. 90 metres in a northerly direction. SCHOOL HILL – From its southern junction with Parsonage Lane to its junction with The Broadway. SPRAY HILL – From its junction with High Street for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction. TOWN HILL – From its junction with High Street for a distance of 260 metres in a southerly direction. BREWER STREET, HIGH STREET, HOPGARDEN CLOSE, MORLAND DRIVE, PEARSE PLACE and THE BROADWAY - For their entire length.
