(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Manchester Street, from Hessle Road to the entrance of ASDA car park, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during installation of new electric connection.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 6th July 2026 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 6th July 2026 and 1st August 2026.
