WESTWOOD AVENUE, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Westwood Avenue, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Westwood Avenue from its junction with Norman Lane to a point outside No.2 Westwood Avenue.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Westwood Avenue (unaffected section), Norman Grove, Norman Avenue, Norman Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 22nd June 2026 and remains in force until 23:55 hours on the 3rd July 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
