RESTRICTIONS (E4 roads unless stated (T14(26))

The Waltham Forest (Parking Places, Loading Places

and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions)

(Amendment No. X) Order 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the LBWF (“the Council”) propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act (RTRA) 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the order would be to provide double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions in:

a) Endlebury Rd – north side

a. From the eastern kerb line of Horsley Rd, eastward for 7.5m

b. From the western kerb line of Horsley Rd, westward to the common boundary of No. 66 and 68 Endlebury Rd

b) Horsley Rd – both sides, from its junction with Endlebury Rd to the south facing building wall of No. 64 Endlebury Rd, and in

c) Matlock Rd E10, north west side, convert 6.6m of permit parking space to a blue badge disabled persons parking place outside No. 69 and 71 Matlock Rd

3. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council under the same RTRA sections mentioned in item 1 proposes to make a minor change to a traffic order map schedule in: Burwell Rd E10, north east side, a correction to the loading place times outside No. 169 Lea Bridge Rd operating Mon - Sat 8am to 6.30pm. No changes will be made on street with regards to the Order amendment in item 3.

4. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council, in accordance with Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980, the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, as amended, proposes to:

a) re-introduce a raised speed table in Kings Head Hill from a point 4m north west of the south east boundary of No. 145 south eastwards for a distance of 21m previously proposed Aug 2020); and

b) re-introduce new speed humps in Warren Road between

(1) Nos.11 and 27 (x1), (2) Nos. 49 and 57 (x1) and (3) Nos. 73 and 83 (x1) (previously proposed Sept 2021)

The road/speed humps and table would be an elevated section of carriageway, between 75 and 100 millimetres higher its highest point than the surrounding carriageway, extending across the full width of the carriageway, include the gradients.

5. A copy of the proposed Order mentioned at the beginning of this notice, the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make that Order and plans showing the locations and effect of the Order (and non-order items) can be inspected until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, the Council decides not to make the Order, or request by either emailing traffic.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk, or visiting (*) by appointment) the Highways, Low Hall. Argall Avenue E10 7AS during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; or alternatively documents can be viewed online at: www.walthamforest.gov.uk/content/road-traffic-schemes-and-consultations 

6. Any person desiring to object to or to make any representation with regards to the measures set out in item 4 above, or the Order mentioned in item 2 and 3 above should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or their representation to Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS or by emailing: traffic.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk quoting reference T14(26) – Minor batch 4-26 by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
