Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Avey Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Manor Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th July 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PT314545363002025 – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

An alternative route is available via: Avey Lane, Pryse Green Lane, Wellington Hill, Manor Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 25th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Avey Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 330m north west of its junction with Pryse Green Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd July 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGMS3I6L – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre placement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

The Order will come into effect on 25th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Dowding Way, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dowding Way, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Waltham Abbey Interchange for a distance of approximately 105m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th July 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02253964028 – Terra Verde). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while litter picking works are undertaken by Terra Verde.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Epping Lane, Theydon Mount in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 490m north west of its junction with Mount Road for a distance of approximately 170m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410307666 – Affinity Water Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water main repairs works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.

The Order will come into effect on 25th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Gainsthorpe Road, Bobbingworth) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gainsthorpe Road, Bobbingworth in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 280m north east of its junction with Hobbins Farm Road a distance of approximately 70m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001 WGPDGL6J – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

An alternative route is available via: Gainsthorpe Road, Moreton Bridge, Pedlars End, Moretons Road, Hobbans Farm Road, Gainsthorpe Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 25th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Murthering Lane, Stapleford Abbotts) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Murthering Lane, Stapleford Abbotts in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 100m north east of its junction with The Paddocks for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410303442 – Affinity Water Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fire hydrant repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.

An alternative route is available via: Monks Mill Road, A113, Brys and vice versa (with access only into Tysea Hill, Murthering Lane, Bounce Hill, Church Road).

The Order will come into effect on 25th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Parndon Mill Lane, Harlow) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Parndon Mill Lane, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point approximately 160m north east of its junction with Elizabeth Way for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th July 2026 for 1 night (23:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (LK701BGK-22-19-200726 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

(Partridge Road, Harlow) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Partridge Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Southern Way to force the closure of approximately 65m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th July 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410244710 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

(Various Roads, District of Harlow) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.4) 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping" restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 25th June 2026 exact dates will be specified on One.Network. These roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lindsey Street, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Palmers Hill a distance of approximately 10m in a north westerly direction.
