CITY OF BRISTOL

(PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 207, ASHTON, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians that length of Public Right of Way 207 which extends from Public Right of Way 424 in a northerly, then south westerly, then north westerly direction for 529 metres.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the public right of way and will be operative from 6th July 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 6th July 2026 and 14th September 2026).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Public Right of Way 424, AVTM Metrobus Guided Busway (footway) and vice versa

(GRINDELL ROAD, ST. GEORGE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Grindell Road which extends from Blackswarth Road to Netham Road.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 27th July 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 27th July 2026 and 28th August 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Eastbound: Netham Road, Pile Marsh, Blackswarth Road
Westbound: Blackswarth Road, Fireclay Road, Netham Road

(GREENMORE ROAD, KNOWLE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Greenmore Road which extends from 74 metres south west of Maxse Road south westwards to its closed end.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 20th July 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 20th July 2026 and 20th July 2027).

(ASHTON ROAD, ASHTON, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Ashton Road, south westbound carriageway, which extends from Winterstoke Underpass south westwards for 347 metres.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 23rd July 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place overnight between 8.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. daily from 23rd July 2026 to 1st September 2026).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Winterstoke Underpass, Clanage Roundabout, Winterstoke Underpass, Winterstoke Road, Bedminster Down Road, Parson Street, Bedminster Road, Bedminster Down Road, Bridgwater Road, Colliters Way, Long Ashton Bypass
