(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order Roundhay Festival – 3 to 6 July 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public (holding of event at Roundhay Park), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: 3 - 6 July 2026

Rd Closures from 11:00 - 01:00 Princes Av, Park Ln (allow northbound traffic), Park View Cres (allow taxis and PUDO), Mansion Ln (allow accessible vehicles), Park Av, West Av, Princes Av, Street Ln from Park Ln to Princes Av (allow axis, PUDO & accessible vehicles), Lidgett Park Rd from North Park Av to Princes Av (shuttle buses & residents facilitated), Old Park Rd from Street Ln to Gledhow Ln (allow car park & to Roundhay School on Friday), Wetherby Rd from Oakwood Ln to Easterly Rd (allow Taxis & PUDO), Oakwood Ln from Roundhay Rd to Easterly Rd (allow northbound & southbound car park access), Roundhay Rd from Gledhow Ln to Oakwood Ln (northbound closure at Gledhow Ln, access for event car park), Street Ln from Park Ln to Princes Av (allow taxis, PUDO & accessible vehicles)

3rd - 5th July 2026 prohibit all vehicles except buses, to stop for more than 20 mins on part of Sovereign Street, for a distance of 30m in a SW direction from the rear of the existing coach bay restriction; Change of the existing loading to a shared loading & taxi restriction on Sovereign Street; prohibit the use of the northern carriageway edge of Sovereign Street, for 16m from a point 17m from Jct w Swinegate except for between 05.00 and 10:30 and to all vehicles other than Hackney Carriages at all other times.
