Ar 12 Mehefin 2026, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd troedffordd orllewinol adeilad Tŷ Maelfa o bwynt 6 metr o’r cwrbyn o fynedfa’r maes parcio am 13 metr tua’r gogledd.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn ofynnol i hwyluso gwaith ar y llwybr troed neu gerllaw, a disgwylir iddo fod ar waith o ddydd Sadwrn 13 Mehefin 2026 tan ddydd Gwener 6 Tachwedd 2026 neu nes i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith.

Bydd y llwybr amgen ar hyd y llwybr troed ar ochr ddwyreiniol adeilad Tŷ Maelfa.

Enw’r Gorchymyn yw “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Troedffordd Orllewinol Tŷ Maelfa, Llanedern, Caerdydd (Cau Troedffordd Dros Dro) 2026”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (WEST SIDE FOOTWAY OF TY MAELFA, LLANEDEYRN, CARDIFF (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

On the 12th June 2026, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any person from using or proceeding along the west side footway of the Ty Maelfa building from a point 6 metres of the kerb line from the car park entrance for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly direction.

This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near the footway and is expected to be in operation from Saturday 13th June 2026 until Friday 6th November 2026 or until works are complete.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices.

The alternative route will be via the footpath to the east side of the Ty Maelfa building.

This Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (West Side Footway of Ty Maelfa, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff (Temporary Footway Closure) Order 2026”.
