Temporary Traffic Management Order Of Yeovil Road, Halstock
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 19 June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 03 July 2026.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface treatment works.
The effect of the Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on YEOVIL ROAD, HALSTOCK, between Barretts House and Marriotts Stables, a distance of approximately 1700 metres.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along YEOVIL ROAD, HALSTOCK, between Barretts House and Marriotts Stables, a distance of approximately 1700 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along YEOVIL ROAD, HALSTOCK, between Barretts House and Marriotts Stables, a distance of approximately 1700 metres.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure Of Various Roads, Parish Of Powerstock
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VARIOUS ROADS, PARISH OF POWERSTOCK; MANOR DRIVE, NETTLECOMBE from 06 July 2026 until 10 July 2026.
THE SQUARE, CASTLE MILL LANE and THE SQUARE LANE SOUTH, NETTLECOMBE from 13 July 2026 until 24 July 2026.
SCHOOL HILL, POWERSTOCK from 27 July 2026 until 07 August 2026.
The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 06 July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 07 August 2026.
This Order will enable Wessex Internet to carry out installation of ducting and fibre cable.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure Of Windsor Terrace, Lyme Regis
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WINDSOR TERRACE, LYME REGIS, between its junction with Woodmead Road and High Trees, a distance of approximately 145 metres.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 06 July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 02 October 2026.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out repair works to the retaining wall.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 06 July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 July 2026.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway drainage and surfacing work.
The effect of the Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on NORWOOD LANE, CORSCOMBE, between its junction with Court Hill and a point approximately 460 metres east.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along, NORWOOD LANE, CORSCOMBE, between its junction with Court Hill and a point approximately 460 metres east.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along, NORWOOD LANE, CORSCOMBE, between its junction with Court Hill and a point approximately 460 metres east.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The effect of the Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary speed restriction of 10mph to facilitate the use of a convoy working vehicle along B3157, BURTON BRADSTOCK between Burton Bradstock Cars and a point approximately 1300 metres south east.
[2] To impose a parking suspension, as indicated by signs on site, to prevent parking on the highway along B3157, BURTON BRADSTOCK between Burton Bradstock Cars and a point approximately 1300 metres south east.
[3] To impose a clearway, as indicated by signs on site, to prevent waiting on the highway along B3157, BURTON BRADSTOCK between Burton Bradstock Cars and a point approximately 1300 metres south east.

Temporary Closure Of Public Bridleway W21/73, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Public Bridleway W21/73, from grid reference ST 4708, 0155 to grid reference ST 4708, 0166, a distance of approximately 130 metres.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 23 December 2025 and has been extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 23 December 2026.
This Order will enable Paul Basham Associates to enable construction of a new development.
The alternative route will be; From grid reference ST 4708, 0155 head east along B3163 Broadwindsor Road to the junction with St James, a distance of approximately 50 metres. Head north along St James for a distance of approximately 85 metres. Head west along St James spur for a distance of approximately 70 metres.
