CITY OF BRISTOL

(VARIOUS ROADS, ST. PHILIPS AREA, LAWRENCE HILL, CITY OF BRISTOL) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (LOADING PLACES) ORDER 2026

The City Council of Bristol hereby gives NOTICE that on 18th June 2026 it made a traffic order, the effect of which is:-

1. to revise prohibition of waiting arrangements for vehicles in Freestone Road, Gas Lane, Oxford Street and Silverthorne Lane; and

2. to remove restriction of waiting arrangements for vehicles in Oxford Street.

The order will come into operation on 22nd June 2026 and a copy thereof, together with plans, a copy of the order being revoked and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be viewed at the Citizen Service Point at 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG, between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Monday to Friday.

Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
