THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY)
(DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION) (NO. 11) ORDER 2007
On the 03 March 2026 the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the area, by recording a Public Footpath from a point at GR SD 5794 2504 on U10725 Kellet Lane, Bamber Bridge, Borough of South Ribble, passing through a metal giggle-gaggle and running in a general north westerly direction for a distance of 52 metres, the footpath being 2 metres wide for the whole of its length and running along a tarmac surface to join Ranglet Road, Bamber Bridge, Borough of South Ribble, at GR SD 5791 2508
A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge at the offices of South Ribble Borough Council, and at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.

The Order took effect on the 03 March 2026, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under Paragraph 11 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
