On 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Broadbridge Lane (D356) Smallfield as extends from its junction with Redehall Road (C67) to the access for Dalarna.

Alternative route – Redehall Road, Weatherhill Road and Broadbridge Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate a service disconnection and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 June 2026 for 3 days between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Platt (D415) Dormansland as forms the eastern arm as The Platt extends from its junction with West Street (D415) to its junction with The Platt outside the Parish Room. 

Alternative route – The Platt.

This Order is required to enable BT to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 2 July 2026 for 2 days between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Little Bookham Street (D2525) Bookham as extends from its junction with Heatherside Close (X1010) to its junction with Oakdene Road (N2510).

Alternative route – Lower Road and Church Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate the rectification of a defect reinstatement and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 June 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 7.00am and 7.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Bolters Road (D572) and Avondale Close (D572) Horley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- (a) Bolters Road (D572) Horley as extends from its junction with Mallard Close (D572) to its junction with Benhams Drive (D572); and (b) Avondale Close (D572) Horley as extends from its junction with Bolters Road (D572) to the western boundary of 32 Avondale Close.

Alternative route – Bolters Road, Benhams Drive, Horley Row, Wellington Way, Kingsley Road and Avondale Close, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works.

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 June 2026 for 1 month between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Slines Oak Road (D1360) Woldingham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Slines Oak Road (D1360) Woldingham as extends from its junction with Uplands Road (N35163) to its junction with Nethern Court Road (D1360).

Alternative route – Slines Oak Road, Halliloo Valley Road, Woldingham Road and Station Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 June 2026 for 2 months in multiple phases between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained either side of but not through the works site. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Whyteleafe Hill (C227) Whyteleafe
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1), 14(5) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 

1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Whyteleafe Hill (C227) Whyteleafe as extends from the access for “Cedar Court” to the access for “Ashdown House”; and 2. suspend any One-Way Order made or having effect as if made under Sections 82, 83 and/or 84 of the Act insofar as affects St Lukes Road (D1385) to allow it to be used both ways during the works. 

Alternative route – Whyteleafe Hill, Whyteleafe Road, Burntwood Lane, A22 (Godstone Road) and Whyteleafe Hill, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to enable Network Rail to facilitate lighting renewal and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 June 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 6.00am and 6.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Waterhouse Lane (C135) Kingswood
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Further to the issue of a Notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 “the Act”, on 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Waterhouse Lane (C135) Kingswood as extends from its junction with Brighton Road (A217) to its junction with Alcocks Lane (X25224).

Alternative route – Eastbound: A217 (Brighton Road), Bonsor Drive and Waterhouse Lane. Westbound – Waterhouse Lane, Bonsor Drive, A217 (Brighton Road), A240 (Reigate Road), Tattenham Way and A217 (Brighton Road).

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate urgent repair works to the retaining wall following tree removal and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 23 June 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained either side of but not through the works site.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.4) 2026

On 17 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. 

This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out in 2 phases within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 June 2026. 

Phase (1) will comprise of that length of road in part (a) in the Schedule to this Notice; and Phase (2) will comprise those lengths of roads in parts (b) and (c) and (d) in the Schedule to this Notice. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride
(Temporary Traffic Measures) Order 2026

On 17 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order, pursuant to Sections 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) the effect of which will be to (1) Prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice or any parts thereof. Such restriction shall also apply in relation to the riding, leading or driving of horses or any other animals; and (2) Impose a one-way driving restriction in the entire length of Chapel Road (C67) Smallfield, so that all vehicles shall proceed in a northerly direction. 

The Order will come into effect on 21 June 2026, for a period of one day, but will only be operative whilst the relevant traffic signs are displayed. This Order is required to facilitate the holding of an on-road cycling event, namely The British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride 2026. 

The Order will not apply to such pedal cycles or other vehicles being used in connection with the said event, or anything done on the direction, or with the permission, or a police constable in uniform or a traffic marshal, or any sign placed by Surrey Police. 

Emergency access will be maintained for the police, fire brigade and ambulance services and for organisations responsible for dealing with the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, water, or electronic communications, to premises in the area and for the removal of any obstruction to traffic. 

No exemption will apply for disabled persons’ vehicles and all parking places in the lengths of roads specified in this Notice will be suspended. Access for residents will be maintained where possible, however the Council are satisfied that, in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road to which this Order relates, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, or for facilitating the passage of vehicular traffic on the road, vehicular access to premises situated in the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted, save for emergency access as indicated above. Access for pedestrians will be unaffected. 

It is anticipated that the closures will operate in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead between 5am and 2pm and in the District of Tandridge between 5am and 4pm, though roads will reopen earlier if it is safe to do so. The Council are also satisfied that in accordance with subsection (3) of Section 16A of the Act, that the event to which the Order relates cannot be held otherwise than on a road. 

Such is the length of the route and the nature of the closure, the Council does not consider it practical to recommend alternative routes for traffic, however, it will be possible to cross the route via Outwood Lane (Woodmansterne), (A23) London Road South (Merstham) and (A25) High Street/Bletchingley Road (Nutfield), though these crossing points will be controlled by traffic signals. On 17 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D361 Wheelers Lane, Smallfield which extends from its junction with Broadbridge Lane eastwards for a distance of 120m; and (b) suspend “Surrey County Council D361 Wheelers Lane Smallfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. 

This Order is required to enable BT Openreach to facilitate pole replacement works and/or cabling works, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 10am and 2.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 June 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and suspension will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for and emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only.

D2812 Chart Downs, Dorking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 17 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D2812 Chart Downs, Dorking which extends from its junction with Townpath – Chart Downs (T8057) westwards to the western property boundary of No.80. 

This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate electrical works and/or connection works, which is anticipated to be completed within 5 days, between 8am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 June 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and suspension will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles, will be maintained at all times. 

Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained, which may be via the opposite footway. Alternative Route – Chart Downs.

Vincent Lane (A25) Dorking
Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles at any time on both sides of the carriageway of Vincent Lane (A25) Dorking as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between property No.12 and No.13 Vincent Lane to a point in line with the common boundary between property No.19 and No.20 Vincent Lane. 

This Temporary Order is required to facilitate removal and installation of a high wall, allowing a safe working zone for, or on behalf of CDM Decorating and Interiors Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 13 July 2026. 

This temporary restriction, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. 

Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

Zigzag Road (D311) Mickleham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Zigzag Road (D311) Mickleham as extends from its junction with (B2209) Old London Road to its junction with the access to the property known as “Flint Cottage”. 

Alternative Route: (B2209) Old London Road, (A24) London Road, (A24) Deepdene Avenue, (A25) Reigate Road, (B2032) Station Road, (B2032) Pebble Hill Road, (B2033) Headley Common Road, and Boxhill Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 18 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Battlebridge Lane (C225) and Devon Road (D1173) Merstham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Battlebridge Lane (C225) Merstham as extends from its junction with (C225) New Battlebridge Lane to its junction with (D1173) The Crossways; (b) Devon Road (D1173) Merstham as extends from its junction with (C225) Battlebridge Lane to its junction with (D1172) Orpin Road. 

Alternative Route: (1) New Battlebridge Lane, (A23) London Road South, (A23) London Road, (A23) Princess Way, (A25) Redstone Hill, (A25) Nutfield Road, (A25) High Street, (A25) Bletchingley Road, (A25) Castle Street, Little Common Lane, Pendell Road, Bletchingley Road, and Nutfield Road, or this route in reverse; (2) Battlebridge Lane, Nutfield Road, and Orpin Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 28 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. 

The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Honeycrock Lane (C65) Salfords
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Honeycrock Lane (C65) Salfords as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between property No.33 and No.35 Honey Crock Lane to a point in line with the common boundary between property No.75 and No.77 Honeycrock Lane; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Honeycrock Lane (C65) Salfords Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025” in its entirety. 

Alternative Route: Honeycrock Lane, (A23) Brighton Road, (A23) Horley Road, Three Arch Road, Masons Bridge Road, and Honeycrock Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate overhead telecom mast testing works for, or on behalf of Vodaphone. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 11.45pm and 5am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 18 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.


D2800 Adlers Lane, Westhumble
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D2800 Adlers Lane, Westhumble that extends from the eastern side of its junction with Burney Road, to the north-western side of its junction with Pilgrims Close. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or connections and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within 4 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each, day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Adlers Lane, Pilgrims Way, Chapel Lane and Burney Road.

A24 Dorking Road, Leatherhead and A24 London Road, Mickleham
Temporary Traffic Management Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 

1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of the southbound carriageway to A24 Dorking Road, Leatherhead and that length of the southbound carriageway to A24 London Road, Mickleham that extends from its junction with A24 Dorking Road, to its junction with B2209 Old London Road. 

Alternative route:- Givon’s Grove Roundabout, A246, A25 Shere Road, A25 Station Road, A25 Dorking Road, A25 Coast Hill, Guildford Road, Westcott Road, West Street, High Street and Reigate Road. 

2. Reduce the maximum speed limit to 30mph in the entire length of A24 Dorking Road, Leatherhead and that length of A24 London Road, Mickleham that extends from its junction with A24 Dorking Road, to its junction with B2209 Old London Road. 

3. “The Surrey County Council “The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Mole Valley) (50MPH Seed Limit) Order 1999” ” (as amended) shall be suspended insofar as imposes a speed limit of 50mph in the lengths of A24 Dorking Road, Leatherhead and A24 London Road, Mickleham described in Part 2. above.

This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or refurbishment and/or repair and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am and 4pm, within 3 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, suspension and speed limit, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Note:- The temporary closure described in part 

1. above is anticipated to be operational at night. The temporary speed limit described in part 

2. and temporary suspension described in part 3. above is anticipated to be operational for 24 hours each day. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. will be maintained at all times. 

The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police.

C57 Ifield Road, Charlwood
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C57 Ifield Road, Charlwood that extends from the southern side of its junction with the access road for Butternut Croft, to the northern side of its junction with D557 Chalmers Close. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable Sutton and East Surrey Water to make a new water connection and/or carry out water mains maintenance and/or associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm within 5 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Access for residents, businesses and emergency services will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Ifield Road, The Street, Lowfield Heath Road, Bonnetts Lane and Charlwood Road.

Townpath from Hazelwood Lane to Outwood Lane (T9031) Chipstead
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Townpath from Hazelwood Lane to Outwood Lane (T9031) Chipstead.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

This Order is required to enable Network Rail to facilitate a bridge examination and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 6-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences 14 July 2026 for 1 night between the hours of 10.00pm and 6.00am. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Titsey Road (B269) Limpsfield, Titsey Road
(B269) Titsey and Titsey Hill (B269) Titsey
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Titsey Road (B269) Limpsfield, Titsey Road (B269) Titsey and Titsey Hill (B269) Titsey as extends from the junction of Titsey Road (B269) with High Street (B269) to the junction of Titsey Hill (B269) with Clarks Lane (B2024). Alternative route – B2024 (Clarks Lane and Croydon Road), A25 (Westerham Road), B2025 (Detillens Lane) and B269 (High Street), or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 3 July 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
