Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 491046 Promenade Road, from outside of the property known as ‘No.2 Promenade’ to outside of the property known as ‘No.16 Promenade’ for a distance of approximately 40 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid Please note that any existing restrictions which are adversely affected by this closure will be suspended for the duration of the said works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 6th July 2026 until 13th July 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401183 Beacon Lane from outside of the property known as ‘Malthouse Farm’ to outside of the property known as ‘Brides Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 214 metres. The reason for the said closure is for sewer repair works

The said road is expected to be closed on from 2nd July 2026 until 3rd July 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH ABA 90 (BADGEWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of public footpath ABA90 from its junction with Public Bridleway ABA 127 in a generally north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 210 metres to its junction with Cold Slad Lane.

The footpath falls within the Parish of Badgewortth within the Tewkesbury Borough in the county of Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary to safeguard the public while construction relating to the A417 Missing Link project is completed

The Order will come into force on 3rd July 2026 and and it is anticipated that the Public Footpath will close on that day until 3rd January 2027. However, this Order authorizes the closure for up to six months and if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH ABC 4 (BISHOPS CLEEVE PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath ABC 4 in the Parish of Bishops Cleeve from a point on Road A435 running in a generally southerly direction for approximately 240 metres to its junction with Road A435.

The said footpath falls within Bishops Cleeve Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The said closure is to facilitate the safe construction of a residential development.

The Order came into force on the 9th January 2023, and subsequently was extended by the Secretary of State until 9th July 2026. Works have still not been completed and, given the ongoing safety concerns, the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension of the said Order until the 9th January 2028 or until the completion of the said works, whichever is the earlier.
