Crossing at Camrose Avenue, Harrow
Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Harrow, ("the Council"), under the Highways Act 1980, intends to install a Zebra Controlled Crossing at the following location:
Camrose Avenue, with the centre point of the crossing located in line with the extended party wall of Nos. 90 and 92 Camrose Avenue. The crossing extends 0.6 metres west and 2.2 metres east of the centre point, forming a total crossing width of 2.8 metres.
The proposed crossing facilities will assist to improve road safety by allowing pedestrians one nationally recognised crossing point. This location serves as a key pedestrian route to Krishna-Avanti Primary School, located nearby. The area experiences significant footfall during school pick-up and drop-off times.
A copy of Council’s statement of reasons for proposing these works and plans will be available until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays. Copies are also available to view at www.harrow.gov.uk/trafficorders
