(Glendevon Road & Elowen Close) (Revocation, One - Way Traffic & 20 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order, 2026

Notice is hereby given that on the 16 June 2026, the Council made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 1-2, 4, 84 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to become operative on the 22 June 2026, the effect of which will be:-

1. To revoke The City Council of Liverpool (Glendevon Road & New Access Road) (One-Way Traffic & 20 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order, 2019, in its entirety.

2. To prohibit any vehicle, other than a pedal cycle, from proceeding in Glendevon Road, from its junction with Elowen Close to its junction with Queens Drive, in a direction other than westerly. 

3. To prohibit any vehicle from being driven at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour on the entire length of Elowen Close.

A copy of the Order, the plan and statement of the Council's reasons for making the same may be inspected at The Planning & Regulatory Team, City Law & Governance, Legal Services, 4th Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH & at the offices of Transport & Highways, Parking and Traffic Orders Team, 4th Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from the 16 June 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
