CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982

APPOINTMENT OF TAXI STANCES

Notice is given that East Lothian Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, proposes to appoint the following taxi stances:

Wallyford Park & Ride – 4 vehicle stance – 24 hours per day, seven days per week

High Street, Prestonpans – 2 vehicle stance – 24 hours per day, seven days per week

North Berwick Railway Station – 3 vehicle stance – 24 hours per day, seven days per week

Winton Place, Tranent – 2 vehicle stance – 24 hours per day, seven days per week

Any objections or representation to this proposal should be lodged in writing with the Licensing Authority, East Lothian Council, John Muir House, Haddington, EH41 3HA or by email to licensing@eastlothian.gov.uk, no later than 28 days after the date of this advertisement (16 June 2026).
