(C77 NE(C77 NEAR GLENDEARG, LANGSHAW)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (C77 near Glendearg, Langshaw) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of  18 months, will come into force on 22 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 24 June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C77 North of Glendearg Cottages, Galashiels.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the C77, A68, B6360, B6374 and C77 to the point of closure,  for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(ABBEY PLACE & DEAN’S CLOSE, JEDBURGH)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Abbey Place & Dean’s Close, Jedburgh) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 22 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 26 June 2026. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the Lane between Abbey Place and Dean’s Close, Jedburgh.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Dean’s Close and Abbey Place, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(C71 GREENLEES, KELSO) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (C71 Greenlees, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 29 June 2026, as detailed below. The Order is required for Go Fibre Civils works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C71 Greenlees, Kelso as detailed below:

Closure 1
C71 at junction with the D111/4 to the B6352 from 07:00 on 22 June 2026 to 23:59 on 24 June 2026; and

Closure 2
C71 at junction with the D111/4 to the B6436 from 00:01 on 25 June 2026 to 17:00 on 29 June 2026.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C71, B6436, B6401, B6352 and C71 to the point of closure,  for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(C40 CESSFORD, KELSO) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (C40 Cessford, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under  Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of  18 months, will come into force on 24 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 8 July 2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C40 Kalemouth to Cessford Road, Kelso.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B6401 and C40 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
