The Scottish Borders Council (Footway – Kingsknowe Drive, Galashiels) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of six months, will come into force at 08:00 on 22 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 25 June 2026. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall walk or cycle along the footway at Kingsknowe Drive, Galashiels from the junction with the A7 to junction with Abbotsview Gardens.
