Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Top Road - from the junction with Staundle Lane to the junction with Pestlefield Lane. A total distance of 947 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Internet to carry out fibre installation works.
The Order becomes effective on 2nd July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th July 2026 and last until 7th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
