HEN LANE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Hen Lane.

The Order will come into effect on 07:00 hours on Wednesday 24th June 2026 and is required to enable carriageway maintenance work including re-surfacing, repairs, surface treatment and associated works to take place safely on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Wednesday 24th June 2026.

The roads will be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for various durations, to such an extent as when prescribed signs are displayed.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.

Access to premises would be maintained wherever possible.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Hen Lane

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ALBERT STREET, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Albert Street (cul-de-sac) side near to Harmony Family Hub, commencing from the junction with Clifton Street.

The Order will come into effect on 00:01 hours on Saturday 20th June 2026 and is required to renew a short communications pipe on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Sunday 21st June 2026.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Gaza Close for its entire length

The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 22nd June 2026 and is required to allow BT to clear blockages in their ducting safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Wednesday 24th June 2026.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Keppel Street at its junction with Cambridge Street.

The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 and is required to allow a blockage to be cleared on the carriageway safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Thursday 25th June 2026.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

TEMPORARY PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY/FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
BOSWELL DRIVE COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be a closure of the length of footpath detailed in the Schedule below (when appropriate signage is in place).

The Order will come into operation at 00:01 hours on Monday 22nd June 2026 and is required to allow BT to safely install new ducting.

The maximum duration of this Order is six (6) months but it is expected that the works will be completed by Wednesday 24th June 2026.

Closure times would be as signed on site.

Any alternative route for pedestrians would be sign posted on site.

Exemptions would be provided for: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) anyone in connection with the execution of the said works; and
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

UNITED IN LOVE, COVENTRY 2026

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from entering, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Priory Street in both directions between its junctions with Fairfax Street and Bayley Lane.
The Order will prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated signs on site. Diversion routes for the closures will be as signed on site.

The Order will come into effect from 08:00 hours on Saturday 20th June 2026 and is required to enable the safe operation of the charity event.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months, but it is expected that the road will be re-opened at 23:00 hours on Saturday 20th June 2026 when safe to do so, as soon as the parade has passed by.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 22 June 2026 and is required to enable BT to install new ducting and associated works on Cannocks Lane to take place safely.

The Order would prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated signs on site. Diversion routes for the closures would be as signed on site.

The Order would come into effect from 00:00 hours on Saturday 27th June 2026 and is required to enable the safe operation of the parade.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months, but it is expected that the road will be re-opened at 13:00 hours on Saturday 27th June 2026 when safe to do so, as soon as the parade has passed by.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

The Order would prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated signs on site. Diversion routes for the closure would be as signed on site.

The Order would come into effect from 12:00 hours on Sunday 28th June 2026 and is required to enable the safe operation of the charity event.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months, but it is expected that the road will be re-opened at 15:00 hours on Sunday 28th June 2026 when safe to do so, as soon as the parade has passed by.

NOTICE OF INTENT PROPOSED SPEED CUSHIONS AND RAISED
ZEBRA CROSSING – BRAYS LANE

Notice is hereby given that Coventry City Council (“the Council”), under Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980, intends to install physical traffic calming measures in the form of a road hump, a raised table and a zebra crossing under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The details of the proposed measures are as follows:

• A road hump 75mm high, to be installed approximately 48 metres south of the junction with St Agatha’s Road
• Installation of a new raised Zebra crossing. A raised table (with integrated crossing) of no more than 100mm high, outside numbers 47 and 49 Brays Lane. The controlled area (zig zags) of the zebra crossing extending on both sides of Brays Lane from No. 55 northwards to numbers 41/43.

The proposed traffic calming features should assist to reduce vehicle speeds and improve road safety on this road. The Zebra crossing will aid road safety as it provides a controlled provides a controlled crossing point near the school.
